After all the talk about Tom Brady ‘s diet, his relationship with his coach, and his future with the New England Patriots . Tony Dungy was a guest on ” The Herd ” on Monday , and the two talked about Brady’s fitness. Dungy was blunt about Brady’s weight , saying “He’s not a tremendous athlete. He’s not a quick-twitch guy” and comparing him to Dan Marino.
It’s usually a bad idea to rub the face of a man who is 30 years your senior in front of his kids, unless it’s his birthday. Tom Brady finally got that wish last week when Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians and his wife, Terry, gave the New England Patriots’ quarterback a birthday present that was both hilarious and completely at odds with the coach’s stated beliefs.
I had to read this post a couple of times before I realized what had happened…Tom Brady is the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) in the football world. He has, what some would say, singlehandedly changed the way we think of a quarterback in the NFL. What better way to celebrate his birthday than to have one of the most successful coaches in the NFL (or the entire game) give him a 44th birthday gift that also goes against what Tom stands for.. Read more about tom brady the goat and let us know what you think.
Tom Brady didn’t win seven Super Bowl championships by slacking off.
Anyone who has met Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston can tell he thinks differently than most people. He’s been able to prolong his career longer than most NFL players could ever hope for by adopting a rather fanatical approach to eating and training.
Brady has a great chance to add ring No. 8 to his collection after a successful first season in Tampa. Even though he turned 44 on Tuesday, it doesn’t seem like his age will stop him from carving through defenses.
Brady, on the other hand, got a well-deserved birthday present from head coach Bruce Arians that, ironically, goes against everything the GOAT stands for.
Thanks to his renowned work ethic and commitment to his profession, Tom Brady is still playing at a high level.

By chance, you don’t become the best of all time at anything. Tom Brady came into the NFL as a sixth-round selection with little fanfare and plenty of skeptics. A much younger (and less fit) version of TB12, on the other hand, fought very hard to gain Bill Belichick’s confidence and respect. And the sluggish, thin boy from Michigan put himself up for long-term success by adopting the first-to-arrive, last-to-leave attitude.
Of course, Brady was able to go on the field after a fluke injury to then-starter Drew Bledsoe. While he didn’t blow anybody away physically, it became apparent that the former Wolverine had an amazing ability to persevere in the face of adversity, make critical plays, and lead his team to victory.
In his first four years as a starter, Brady led the Patriots to three Super Bowl victories. He benefited from having some brilliant teammates and perhaps the greatest head coach of all time, but the California native also gained worldwide admiration for his unwavering commitment to refining his profession, increasing his fitness, and studying video almost 24 hours a day. Brady’s lead-by-example style, as someone who constantly emphasized the necessity of putting in the effort during the summer, certainly aided Belichick in establishing a team-first mentality.
When the great quarterback departed New England following the 2019 season, he took the same mentality and determination to his new club. Brady defied medical advice in order to prepare for the 2021 season, motivated by Belichick’s decision to basically let him go. Given the Buccaneers’ first Super Bowl victory since 2002, it’s fair to say their new leader’s willingness to give up his body and time for the team’s benefit has paid off.
Bruce Arians gives Brady a well-deserved birthday present that goes against all he stands for.
Brady needs a strong year in 2021 to prove he still deserved to be considered an elite quarterback after his disappointing last season with the Patriots. His age-43 season proved without a shadow of a doubt that he is still one of the finest in the industry.
Part of it is due to his innate abilities. At the same time, it’s clear that Brady’s success is due to his meticulous attention to detail in terms of what he puts into his body, how he works out, and what he does on the six days of the week when he’s not playing football.
Ironically, Brady received a well-deserved birthday gift from Bruce Arians that goes against everything the GOAT stands for, despite the fact that he’s made it clear over the years that he’s willing to make major sacrifices and subject himself to physical punishment for the sake of winning football games.
During his Monday news conference, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians remarked, “It’s remarkable the passion that burns in him to accomplish this.” “We’ll toss him a bone and let him off the hook for a day.”
Brady didn’t have to work on his 44th birthday, so he didn’t have to go to work. He hasn’t lost any of the competitive fire that helped him become the GOAT, as shown by his recent cursing out of a couple teammates during practice. However, the fact that Arians gave Brady the day off as a birthday present clearly contradicts the 44-year-long-held old’s philosophy of leading by example and putting in more than the necessary amount of work.
It may have been difficult for TB12 to remain at home on Tuesday and not put on his helmet and shoulder pads, but he doesn’t need to practice every day. After all, even if Arians’ gift resulted in one fewer training session for the GOAT, he and the Buccaneers seem poised to make a genuine push at back-to-back championships.
In his 44th season, can the GOAT lead the Buccaneers to back-to-back championships?
Brady, who won his eighth Super Bowl ring at the age of 43, seems to be on the verge of adding another if the Buccaneers live up to their skill level.
With all 22 starters back, the Buccaneers have a terrifying lineup that includes Hall of Famers like Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Antonio Brown, as well as stars in their prime like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Shaquil Barrett, and Lavonte David, as well as exciting youngsters like Vita Vea, Tristan Wirfs, Antoine Winfield Jr., and Devin White. Ndamukong Suh, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Leonard Fournette are among the Buccaneers’ notable players.
Arians’ squad is devoid of any apparent flaws. Even though the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, and Los Angeles Rams all have good rosters, the Buccaneers still seem to be the better team.
Don’t be shocked if Tom Brady wins the Lombardi Trophy for the seventh time in his illustrious career.
Maybe then he’ll reconsider taking vacation days.
However, don’t expect him to change his mind until he completes that task.
Pro Football Reference provided all statistics.
With his NFL and financial future on the line, Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown wisely teamed up with an NFL legend at the perfect time.
