So, after the Packers drafted two rookies in the first three rounds, they were quick to show their support towards the new additions. Within hours of their selections, Aaron Rodgers was spotted donning a jersey from the guys they drafted this weekend. It was a quick, petty gesture from the quarterback towards himself, and it showed that the Packers are in it for themselves.

The Green Bay Packers have been one of the NFL’s most disappointing teams in recent years. They’ve made several changes on offense, but the biggest change came at the quarterback position. When the team drafted Aaron Rodgers in 2005, the Packers were already a talented team. They were only two years removed from a Super Bowl appearance, and in his two years as the starter, Rodgers showed he could be one of the league’s best.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers exploited his celebrity status to back the team into a corner. The Packers were compelled to defer to Rodgers on a number of fronts after his summer exploits. Rodgers requested that his contract be modified, and it now contains unclear “mechanisms” (presumably some level of control over personnel decisions). Although the Cal product is the current MVP, the Packers would be better served by catering to Davante Adams, the future club MVP.
Adams has not only established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, but he has also established himself as a leader in the Green Bay locker room. The club will rely on Adams to assist Jordan Love — or whomever the next franchise quarterback is — in getting on the field. However, after Rodgers retires, the club will rely on Adams to carry the torch.
Not Rodgers, but Davante Adams should be the Packers’ first focus.

Adams is 28 years old. Rodgers is 37 years old. Rodgers, despite winning the MVP award last season, is nearing the end of his career. Adams, on the other hand, is nearing the end of his career.
Early in his career, the Fresno State product struggled with drops, but his past three seasons have been his finest. Adams should be in the top ten of this year’s NFL Top 100 list, and he’s probably the best receiver. In each of the past three seasons, he has over 1,000 yards and 100 catches. In 2019, he recorded 83 catches for 997 yards receiving despite only playing in 12 games due to injury.
Adams is also developing into one of the Packers’ finest locker-room leaders. He complimented rookie cornerback Eric Stokes’ progress and willingness to improve during a recent post-practice interview. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, the receiver, was also mentioned favorably. Valdes-Scantling, like Adams, struggled with drops in his early years in the game. Adams was quick to point out that Valdes-Scantling, a fourth-year player, has worked hard to improve his hands, using himself as an example, and that he is poised for a breakthrough season.
Green Bay, on the other hand, continues to be a drama-filled place because to Rodgers. When he arrived at training camp, he held a 30-minute news conference to express his complaints and concerns with the company. Rodgers has now openly declared that he is undecided between retiring or returning to the Packers, just one week before training camp begins. More over three weeks into preseason sessions, he stated that. The story goes on.
Adams will continue to produce long after Rodgers has left Green Bay.
Adams is in the midst of one of his best seasons. He’s coming off a season in which he caught 115 passes for 1,374 yards and 18 touchdowns. He’s unquestionably one of the greatest wide receivers in the league right now. His route-running skill is unsurpassed, and that is what sets him apart from other wideouts. Rodgers is coming off an MVP season and was a major part of Adams’ breakout season. However, they are traveling in opposing directions.
Rodgers will be replaced by a new franchise, a new head coach, a new offensive scheme, and new players if he departs after this season. He’ll adapt since he’s one of the best quarterbacks of all time. However, when he enters his 17th season, everything will be new to him. Adams will be at ease in his surroundings if he remains in Green Bay. The only significant alteration would be the substitution of Rodgers for Love. To be fair, that’s a step down, but Adams would be in his third season with Love and would still be under 30 years old. It might be argued that Adams is better off without Rodgers than Rodgers is without Adams.
When Aaron Rodgers retires, Davante Adams has a chance to become the Packers’ new face.
The Green Bay Packers are one of the most well-known and legendary sports teams in the world. Its leaders have been inscribed in stone for all time. Bart Starr is a character in the film Bart Starr. Brett Favre is a quarterback. Reggie White is an American football player. Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.
Adams will be the next in a long line of hall of famers to lead the Packers if the club prioritizes his new deal and retains him in a Packers jersey.
