The five most likely winners based on the betting odds are as follows: 1. Golden State Warriors, 2. Cleveland Cavaliers, 3. Indiana Pacers, 4. Philadelphia 76ers, 5/6 (tie). Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets
The “odds to win the masters 2022” is a topic that has been making headlines recently. The odds are based on the betting odds and are listed below.
Golf fans all across the globe are hurrying to choose their predictions for the winner of the fourth and final major of the year, the 2022 Open Championship, which will take place in only one night. But before you make your final selections, it’s usually a good idea to look at the betting odds to see which golfers the bookmakers think have the greatest prospects of winning this week’s Claret Jug.
So, depending on the odds from Las Vegas, who are the five most probable winners of the 150th Open?
10/1 on Rory McIlroy
At Muirfield Village Golf Club during the Memorial Tournament’s final round, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth watch from the second tee.
This is not shocking.
Rory McIlroy has been playing outstanding golf all year and is deserving of his 10/1 odds to win the Open Championship. He has made 13 PGA Tour appearances so far this season, and in addition to two victories and ten top-20 finishes, he leads the Tour in total strokes gained.
I would be surprised if McIlroy wasn’t in the mix on Sunday afternoon given that he has a victory and four top-five finishes in his previous six Open Championship outings.
14/1 Xander Schauffele
Xander Schauffele is the only other golfer in this crowded group who is now arguably doing better than McIlroy. The 28-year-old has won both of his most recent outings, not to include the JP McManus Pro-Am earlier this month, which he also won.
That makes three victories in a row for the gifted American, who seems to have finally discovered a killer instinct to go along with his superb, all-around golf game. With odds of 13/1, he has the second-lowest odds of any competitor entering the Open Championship.
15/1 for Jordan Spieth
Best scoring average at @TheOpen since 2015, min. 10 rounds played in span:
Rory McIlroy, 69.8, Tony Finau, 69.9, Brooks Koepka, 69.5, Jordan Spieth, 69.1, and Xander Schauffele, 70.0

Jordan Spieth has one of the strongest Open Championship résumés among the competitors this year. Spieth has a victory and four top-10 finishes to his record in his previous six Open outings. Additionally, he lost in a playoff in 2015, the last time this competition was played at St. Andrews, by one stroke, and finished second to Collin Morikawa at Royal St. George’s last year.
Spieth’s 15/1 pricing makes perfect sense in this situation given his outstanding Open Championship record and the fact that he is one of the most well-liked players on the Tour among fans.
16-1 Scottie Scheffler
The prohibitive World No. 1 being listed fourth on the odds board in a major tournament may sound strange, but that is where we are this week. Scottie Scheffler still has four victories and two runner-up finishes in his previous 14 outings, so it’s likely that his failure to make the cut at the Scottish Open last week is having an impact on these odds.
Oh, and in his lone Open Championship appearance to date, he tied for ninth place (2021). Scheffler, who is 16/1, has a good chance of dominating this field as he did at Augusta National.
16/1 for Jon Rahm
Jon Rahm missed the cut at the 2019 Dunhill Links after playing one round at St. Andrews and shooting 73.
“I don’t have it right. Like today, the front nine had a left-to-right breeze, but it was an into wind. On the front nine, I believe I whacked it into every single right-hand bunker I could.”

We often don’t see this other player this far down the odds board. In almost every start this season, Jon Rahm has been continuously backed as a top-two or -three favorite, but he is now tied with Scheffler at 16/1 to win the Open Championship.
Rahm may easily take off this week after finishing T3 at Royal St. George’s the previous year and win his second major.
FanDuel provided all betting odds as of 7/13.
