The New England Patriots have won five Super Bowls in a decade. Tom Brady is among the four quarterbacks to win three of them, but he’s the only one to win back-to-back titles. In 2017, he led New England to its sixth Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. On the surface, the Patriots have the luxury of picking in the top five of the 2019 NFL Draft to land a quarterback with the potential to become their next big thing.

Tom Brady’s stats in the Super Bowl are pretty amazing: a 99.8 passer rating, 499 yards (and 5 touchdowns) in a 35-point blowout against the most unstoppable offense in NFL history. But Brady’s legacy has already outlived his success, and now nearly 30 years after his first game as a starter, he’s still the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL.

It has been a while since the New England Patriots were in the Super Bowl, and by now, most people have forgotten about the game in which they wasted the best performance of Tom Brady’s illustrious career. Unfortunately, that is not the case for the fantasy dynasty owner of the New England Patriots, who is stuck with the backup quarterback who was supposed to be the future of the franchise.. There’s a better possibility that the NFL will field its first professional team on Mars before Tom Brady retires. We’re still waiting for odds on the Jupiter expansion club.

Brady, who will be 44 years old when the 2021 season begins, has no plans to retire anytime soon. Although he is presently with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we can expect to see him in a different jersey over the next few years.

Tom Brady says he’s willing to play in 2023 and beyond.

Brady’s ability to play till his legs give out does not seem to be true. We shouldn’t be shocked if the seven-time champion searches out a witch and a book of spells to repair his legs for three hours every Sunday, given his determination to resist retirement.

Brady’s remarks at a Sirius XM town hall were transcribed by ProFootballTalk. He is not only thrilled to play this season at the age of 44, but he also wants to play until the conclusion of the 2022-23 season.

After that, what will happen? You may not want to mark September 2023 as the first time since 1999 Tom Brady will not be on an active NFL roster. He informed Jim Gray that he’s already planning on playing that year and beyond, when he’ll be 46.

“I believe I need to get to that place first, then assess how I’m feeling and where I’m at in my life. However, as you grow older, things change, and I now have a variety of duties. My children and family are unquestionably essential to me. They gave up a lot to see me play over a lengthy period of time. As a result, I owe it to them as well.”

Brady will become the NFL’s oldest starting quarterback in September 2022, barring any major injuries. This does not include former Raiders quarterback George Blanda, who played until he was 48 years old but spent the last several years of his career as a placekicker.

Brady is either teasing everyone or denying his own future.

Extending the contract till 2021 has been signed.

2022: Become the oldest starting quarterback in NFL history.

Brady should be commended for not only making it this far, but also for continuing to play at such a high level. It’s absurd to believe Brady lost all but one quarter of the 2008 season due to a ruptured ACL and never had any other major ailments that hampered his performance.

Father Time, on the other hand, arrives for all of us. In his age-37 season, Peyton Manning passed for an NFL-record 5,477 yards and 55 touchdowns. Injury and ineffectiveness pushed him to the bench two years later. Manning won the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos later that season, but he was more of a game manager than a typical gunslinger.

Nothing will prevent Brady from experiencing the same fate this season. In Week 3, he may feel fantastic, thanks to the TB12 Method, but it won’t shield him against Los Angeles Rams pass rusher Aaron Donald. Brady’s career may be cut short by a single concussion or knee injury.

Brady is intelligent enough to be aware of all of this, so one has to question why he’s here. Is he oblivious to Father Time and his impending retirement? Is he teasing us all, knowing that fans have been debating when he’ll put up his cleats for years? Perhaps neither, and Brady really thinks he’ll be starting games at the age of 47.

In 2023, which clubs would be the best fit for Brady?

The Buccaneers are committed to Brady for at least two more years, barring a catastrophe or an unexpected retirement. Things will become intriguing in 2023, particularly if the Buccaneers choose to go in a different route at quarterback.

Few, if any, would have predicted Tom Brady would depart the New England Patriots following that season and join with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the summer of 2019. Because predicting the NFL Draft is a crapshoot, why bother with Brady and the possibility of free agency? In any case, we’re going to do it.

Whatever happens with Aaron Rodgers, the Packers may have to make a choice on Jordan Love in 2023. Is Green Bay willing to take a risk on Brady if Love isn’t the answer? On the other hand, one has to question whether he’d want to play in the cold — and, yes, Eagles fans, this applies to any of the NFC East clubs.

Derek Carr, the quarterback of the Las Vegas Raiders, will be a free agent following the 2022 season. Brady in the Silver and Black is a wonderful sight to see. Because of the notorious Tuck Rule game in January 2002, Brady owes his legacy to the Raiders.

Dreaming is enjoyable, particularly if you are a neutral objector. However, something tells us Tom Brady will continue to torture the New York Jets for many years to come.
