In Game 6, there’s a high probability Philadelphia will lose. Due to his vaccination status, Matisse Thybulle, a 2020-21 All-Defensive Team pick, will not participate in Toronto. Joel Embiid is also dealing with a thumb issue, while James Harden has been a shadow of his former self in this series, scoring just 18.4 points on 37.3 percent shooting.
Tyrese Maxey will be the offensive x-factor. In the first three games, the second-year guard averaged 26.7 points on 60.0 percent shooting. He averaged 11.5 points a game in the previous two and shot 34.6 percent from the field.
The 76ers can win Game 6 if they can defend the Raptors without Thybulle and get Maxey rolling on the opposite end of the floor. With Embiid out due to injury and the club still searching for a replacement for Pascal Siakam, that will be a difficult challenge.
