The New York Knicks started a 5 game road trip by winning the first two games against the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers, before dropping the next two against the Phoenix Suns and Golden State warriors.

Overall the Knicks have looked good, as they have captured 6 of their last 8 games and currently sit at 4th in the East with a 14-12 record. While there hasn’t necessarily been a single standout performer throughout the season, they have certainly came together as a team.

The Knicks will look to get back on the winning track as they meet Denver tonight who sits at 10th in the Western Conference with a 10-16 record. Don’t let that fool you, though. Denver is stacked at big. A position the Knicks have really struggled with defending this season. Denver will be fielding some combination of Nikola Jokic, Jusuf Nurkic, and Wilson Chandler with Kenneth “Manimal” Faried coming off the bench, So this won’t be a pushover game for the Knicks.

Knicks will look for big games from Joakim Noah, who hasn’t quite been playing up to his contract, and Kyle O’Quinn to help keep the Denver bigs in check.

The Knicks will be getting star forward Carmelo Anthony back in their lineup after missing last game with a sore shoulder, so that is a big confidence booster for the team. Derrick Rose, however, is still listed as a game-time decision with back spasms, so we will keep an eye on that.

The Knicks will be meeting the Nuggets at 9 PM ET
