The greatest boxer that ever lived, Muhammad Ali, passed away late Friday night at age of 74 after a 30+ year battle with Parkinson’s disease. We here at SportsTalkFeed send our condolences to his family.
There really will never be another boxer or person like Ali. From knocking out Sonny Liston and posing for one of the most iconic sports pictures of all time to raising over $100 million dollars for Parkinson’s disease, there will NEVER be another Muhammad Ali. His three fights with Joe Frazier and the “Rumble in the Jungle” against George Foreman are considered some of the greatest boxing fights of all time. This man not only inspired all African American athletes with his empowering speeches but also gave hope to the entire country of Congo. Many atheletes today credit Ali as the reason why they got into their sport of choice. It is a very sad day, we have lost one of the most important humans to ever come into the world of sports
